What is containerized storage?

Container storage offers the most convenient solution for storing your items, especially when moving with a professional removal company and seeking a hassle-free approach to managing your storage needs.
Your items will be professionally wrapped and packed into storage containers and sealed securely until the day of retrieval. Throughout the storage period, your belongings remain untouched within the storage containers, which are mechanically lifted onto our removal vans. This process minimizes handling, ensuring your personal items and furniture are kept dry and secure.

Storage Insurance

Storage insurance is a crucial component when entrusting your belongings to a storage facility. Whether storing items during a move, decluttering, or awaiting a new home, having the right insurance ensures peace of mind. We provide comprehensive insurance coverage for your goods while in transit and throughout the storage period within the container.

Size of Storage Units

We utilize 250 cubic feet storage containers (7 cubic metres) that can be loaded onto our removal lorry and delivered to your doorstep. Typically, the contents of an average 3-bedroom house can be accommodated in approximately five containers.
Following the collection of your items, the containers will be stored in our warehouse.

Calculating Storage Space

During the home survey, we'll assess the necessary storage space for your belongings. If you prefer to calculate the storage space, use our online volume calculator on the quotation page. Once you've filled out our quotation form, we wil reply with an email within 24-48 hours to further discuss your removal and storage needs.

Want more frequent access?

While container storage has its advantages, it may not always be the optimal choice for everyone. If you require regular access to your items, we suggest opting for a self-storage facility rather than containerized storage. Our containers are securely stored in our warehouse, and unfortunately, we cannot offer 24/7 access to your belongings.

Are there any items we can’t store?

Unfortunately, we are unable to store food and valuable items like jewellery and money. Hazardous goods, such as paint, aerosols, or gas bottles/cylinders, cannot be stored either. If you have any uncertainties regarding items, please contact us at 01295 368198, and we will provide guidance on whether specific items are suitable for storage.

However, for shorter periods of time, we can store garden plants/pots in the front of our warehouse.
